Let's get Lost in the Never Woods

  So, as I’m writing this, I think out of my entire bookshelf, there are two books that I haven’t actually read. I’ve read everything else and it’s wild. But today, I’m talking about Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas, author of Cemetery Boys , one of my favourite books of all time. The blurb says that five years ago, Wendy and her two brothers vanished into the woods. She was the only one who returned. Now, children are starting to disappear – and the townsfolk are coming to Wendy for answers. Desperate to flee her past, Wendy encounters Peter, a boy she thought lived only in her imagination, who begs for her help to rescue the missing kids. But in order to find them, Wendy must confront what’s waiting for her in the woods. Guess who has got a case of The Sky Blues?

  So me reading this book has come after I read If I See You Again Tomorrow , also by Robbie Couch, and really loving it. As in probably one of my top books of the year enjoy. And since I loved that book so much, it just made sense in my brain to read another of Couch’s books, and today it’s The Sky Blues . The blurbs tells us that Sky Baker may be openly gay, but in his small, insular town, making sure he’s invisible has always been easier than being himself.
